General Information about the Conference

Registration Desk

The registration desk is situated near the main entrance in the hallway.
Opening hours:

    Mon 30.08.                           14:00 - 17:00
    Tue 31.08. - Thu 02.09.         08:00 - 18:00
    Fri 03.09.                              08:00 - 11:30

All participants must imperatively report at the registration desk before visiting any session. You will receive your name badge, conference program, and can pay still due conference fees. Furthermore you need to bring the filled and signed form regarding confirmation of COVID-19 instructions of the University of Innsbruck.
Please download, print and fill the form before your arrival. This way you help to avoid unnecessary hold-ups at the registration desk.

Important: The Corona rules allow that only registered person may participate in the conference. Without badge, entry to the lecture rooms will be refused.

We recommend to register on Monday afternoon, if possible. This way you avoid waiting times on Tuesday.

Lecture rooms

All rooms are equipped with projectors (multimedia) and Windows computers 1. It is also possible to connect your own laptop 2. If need be, bring adapter and USB-key/CD.

1 The standard format for the projection is 16:9. 4:3 and a few older formats might be used with some restrictions.
2 Windows 10 laptops with built-in 4k display might have to be switched manually to 1080p output resolution in order to get a good picture quality.

Poster Session

The postersession will take place on Tuesday evening and during lunchbreak on Thursday. The poster boards are numbered according to the program, so every participant will find "his" board easily. All posters are expected to be presented on both days.

Coffee Breaks and Lunch

The coffee breaks, aperitif (Tuesday evening) and the lunch buffet on Thursday will take place near the exhibition. Those items are covered by the conference fee.
The campus mensa as well as nearby restaurants, bakery or supermarket are at your disposal for lunch on the other days.

Conference Dinner

The dinner will take place on Thursday in the restaurant "Villa Blanca" after the parallel sessions. The fee is EUR 70.- / CHF 80.- per person (including apéro, meal and drinks). The number of places is limited. Please register in any case in advance so we can plan accordingly. A registration on site is not possible!


During the whole conference the eduroam wireless network is available for the participants. Persons without access to eduroam can ask for a conference access at the registration desk.
