Registration Desk

CERN: The registration desk ist situated in the hall just in front of the main auditorium.
Opening hours:

    Mo 21.08.         14:00 - 17:00
    Di 22.08           08:00 - 17:00

CICG: The registration desk ist situated in the hall just besides the main entrance.
Opening hours:

    Mi - Do 23.08 - 24.08.         08:00 - 18:00
    Fr 25.08.                            08:00 - 11:00

All participants please report at the registration desk before visiting any session. You will receive your name badge, conference program, and can pay the conference fee.

Important: Without badge entry to the lecture rooms will be refused.

We recommend to register already on Monday afternoon, if possible. So you will avoid any delay on Tuesday and may proceed directly to the talks.

Lecture rooms

All rooms are equipped with projectors (multimedia). Please bring your own laptop and, if need be, adapter, USB-key/CD.

Poster Session

The postersession will take place in the hall on Wednesday during lunch break and on Thursday evening. Please bring your own fixing material (drawing-pins, adhesive tape). The poster boards are numbered according to the program, so every participant will find "his" board easily. All posters are expected to be presented on both days.

Coffee Breaks and Lunch

CERN: Coffee break and welcome apéro (Tuesday evening) will take place near the main auditorium (more details will follow). Those items are covered by the conference fee.
The restaurants on the CERN campus are at your disposal for lunch.

CICG: Coffee breaks, apéro and the lunch buffet on Wednesday will take place near the posters and exhibition. Those items are covered by the conference fee.
On Thursday the restaurant on the 1st floor of CICG or those in the nearby city are at your disposal for lunch.

Conference Dinner

The dinner will take place on Wednesday after the parallel sessions in the "Restaurant du Parc des Bastions". The fee is CHF 70.- per person (including meal and drinks). Please register in any case in advance so we can plan accordingly. A registration on site is not possible !

Note: Transfer will be done individually by public transport (see info at the registration desk for details). Hotel guests receive upon check-in the "Geneva Transport Card". With this Card you can freely use the public transportation in Geneva during your stay.

Internet

During the whole conference WLAN access is available for the participants.

CERN:

The CERN offers a guest account valid up to four weeks. Register on this help-page and give as contact person "dawn.hudson@cern.ch" for verification.

The EDUROAM network is also available at CERN but you must install it before coming, please see the instructions .

CICG

The access data appear in the printed program which you will receive upon check-in at the registration desk.
