General Information about the conference


University of Fribourg, building "Pérolles II", Bd de Pérolles 90, 1700 Fribourg.

Registration Desk

The registration desk ist situated just at the main entry for the conference, in front of the lecture room 002.

Opening hours:

    Mon 30.06.        09:30 - 19:00
    Tue 01.07.         08:00 - 19:00
    Wed 02.07.        08:00 - 15:00

All participants please report at the registration desk before visiting any session. You will receive your name badge, conference program, and can pay the conference fee.

Important: Without badge entry to the lecture rooms will be refused.

We recommend to register already on Monday morning, if possible. So you will avoid any delay in the afternoon and may proceed directly to the talks.

Lecture rooms

All rooms are equipped with beamer and transparencies projector. Please bring your own laptop and, if need be, adapter, USB-key/CD.

Poster Session

The postersession will take place on Monday evening and during lunchbreak on Tuesday. Please bring your own fixing material (drawing-pins, adhesive tape). The poster boards are numbered according to the program, so every participant will find "his" board easily. All posters are expected to be presented on both days.

Maximum poster size: A0 portrait

Coffee Breaks and Lunch

The coffee breaks and the lunch buffets on Tuesday and Wednesday will take place near the posters and exhibition. The apéro after the poster session on Monday is scheduled from 19:15-20:15 in the mensa of the School of Engineers, just opposite to the conference building.
Those items are covered by the conference fee.
On Monday you can use one of the restaurants on campus or in the nearby city for lunch.

Conference Dinner

The dinner will take place on Tuesday after the parallel sessions. The fee is CHF 65.- per person (including meal and drinks). Please register in any case in advance so we can plan accordingly. A registration on site is not possible !
